MY88 928 Headlight Lens was dirty and had 26 years of powder & dirt inside the leans. Read online about using Rice and vinegar with Warm water method to clean headlights so thought It was worth a try.
Performed the “Rice Clean” method to get the film layer of old powder from the inside of the lens. Used the cheap rice and a mix of vinegar and hot water and gently swirled & agitated – like panning for gold!
Left for 20 mins or so with occasional swirling & agitation then cleaned all out and gave a wipe down around the inside and left to dry.
Very impressed with the results – the inside of the glass lens is lovely and clean and all I need to do now is give the outside of the glass a polish to remove or reduce 26years of driving & getting pebble dashed by road debris.
